DJ Spooky That Subliminal Kid aka Paul D. Miller will present a large scale multi-media performance work, Terra Nova: The Antarctic Suit for the 01SJ Festival on Saturday, June 7th at the IMAX Theater, the Tech Museum of Innovation.

A book release for DJ Spooky’s 2nd book, Sound Unbound, with MIT Press is being held May 2nd at McNally Robinson Bookstore, 52 Prince St, just off of Lafayette, NY, NY. Spooky will conduct readings from his book and Jonathan Lethem will read from his new novel You Don’t Love Me Yet.

Sound Unbound has essays and interviews from people as diverse as Brian Eno, Pierre Boulez, Moby, Chuck D, Saul Williams, Jaron Lanier, Pauline Oliveros, Naeem Mohaiemen, and others. The audio companion to the book has rare material from Sub Rosa Records. It includes rare material from Allen Ginsberg, James Joyce, Gertrude Stein, Iggy Pop, Jean Cocteau,Vladimir Mayakovsky, and more.
